Cosmy’s visual world is built around detailed illustrations with a distinctive style. The challenge was bringing those scenes to life without changing their original character, while keeping the animation lightweight enough for a production app.

The motion also needed to match the product itself: natural, gentle, and calming rather than overly energetic or distracting.

I approached each illustration by identifying which elements could create the most life through subtle movement, then built the animation around natural timing, layered motion, and small details that preserved the original visual language.

Using Rive also meant thinking carefully about how every scene was constructed, keeping complex illustrated moments expressive while making the final assets practical and lightweight enough to live directly inside the app.
